ECE® Essentials Retreat to be held November 29 and 30, 2018, at ECE in Milwaukee, WI! |
Nursing education varies greatly around the world and has undergone many changes in the past 30 years. This webinar will give an overview of nursing education, including a focus on nursing education in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia and the former Soviet Union.
Presented by: Kate Freeman, Senior Credential Analyst, SpanTran: The Evaluation Company, & Chair of TAICEP Certificate Committee
This webinar is a follow-up to Dr. Garrett’s Blockchain Untangled webinar, which focused on her path to understanding and then implementing blockchain in her work. This next step involves making a case to registrars to adopt blockchain to ward against diploma mills and individually produced fraudulent credentials, such as fake diplomas and transcripts. Participants will gain an understanding of blockchain, and hear her case for why having registrar support could bring this 3.0 web technology to fruition for validating institutional credentials.
(Post from our CICIC colleagues…thanks!)
