Description: This webinar will tackle some frequently asked questions about credentials from Iran, spotlighting the challenges faced by both assessors/admission officers and applicants. Using sample documents and scenarios, the session provides insights into the country’s education system and established practices regarding official documents and their verification.
Bio: Sara began working in the field of international credential evaluation in late 2019 with the Comparative Education Service at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. Her career spans teaching, research, and liaison positions in higher education institutions and the diplomatic sector, including roles at the German Embassy in Tehran, Goethe-Institut Toronto, the University of Waterloo, Universität Mannheim, and the University of Toronto. Growing up in Germany, Sara later moved to Iran where she attended the universities Isfahan and Shahid Beheshti, before coming to Canada to pursue further studies in Applied Linguistics with a focus on language education.
