Awards Program

TAICEP wants to ensure that our credential evaluation professionals receive the recognition they so richly deserve.  Various award and recognition programs are being planned, so please check back periodically for updates.  Current award programs are listed below.

TAICEP’s Hall of Acclaim

This is a very special award program.  We seek to recognize past and present credential evaluation professionals who are pillars in our field and have made a significant contribution to the field over time.  In addition, and this is the special twist, TAICEP desires to act as a repository of a person’s life’s relevant work experiences and professional body of work.  Hall of Acclaim inductees will have a permanent place on TAICEP’s website noting their lifelong personal and work history, pictures, and, where possible, providing access to articles, presentations, papers, books, and other relevant documents and videos for members to access in perpetuity.

2020 Hall of Acclaim Inductees

Inductee Nomination Process

TAICEP may select more than one inductee each year.  Inductees receive lifetime TAICEP membership.  TAICEP actively seeks to include qualified inductees who represent a wide diversity of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, geographic location, professional contexts, and life experiences.

The desired qualification considerations include:

  • Direct or indirect involvement in international credential evaluation for at least 10 years
  • Specialized country/region/education system/credential knowledge or range of countries/education systems/credential knowledge
  • Evidence of publications, presentations (e.g., conferences, webinars, books, articles, etc.)
  • Demonstrated service in support of international credentials and/or related issues in support of international students, immigrants, refugees, etc.

This annual award is open to TAICEP members and non-members, and self-nominations are welcome.
