CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
The Conference Committee had a very successful call for proposals, and the 2025 conference website is now live. Pre-conference workshops and conference sessions will be published on the conference website in early April. A pre-conference event is planned in the city of Dubrovnik, and a post-conference event is planned for a local university. For any questions related to the conference or volunteer opportunities, please reach out to Sully Saucedo (ssaucedo@twu.edu), and she’ll connect you to the appropriate person.
Volunteer opportunities are available to assist with the registration table, Monday’s restaurant hop, the pre- and post-conference activities and to assist with taking photos and/or social media. You can sign up on the conference registration form.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
The Membership Committee is working on building a social media presence by highlighting our new and charter members, as well as highlighting benefits of membership.
STANDARDS AND QUALITY COMMITTEE
The Standards and Quality Committee is currently working on expanding to the next phase of the Francophone Africa project.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Professional Development Committee (PDC) has been hard at work organizing the Spring Webinar, TAICEP At Your Desk and the upcoming conference workshops and sessions. Over 150 registrants attended the Spring Webinar Series, and the TAICEP At Your Desk presentations this year gathered just as many participants. The upcoming months include several TAICEP At Your Desk presentations, so watch for additional information. Please contact Staci Bernhard (sbernhar@fiu.edu) if you would like to propose a TAICEP At Your Desk webinar.
The PDC is seeking additional committee members. Join a great team and help us support the professional development of our fellow members!
RESOURCES AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The committee has recently added a video on how to verify secondary credentials from Haiti. https://dataapps.taicep.org/dochub
The committee also wishes to remind the membership that the Digital Document Providers, TAICEP Wiki, Institutional Database, and Credential Database are member-sourced. Without your input, these resources cannot exist. If you wish to share your knowledge, please email Megan at wiki@taicep.org
