Shanker Munshani is the CEO of ACREVS, a foreign credentials evaluation service based in Silicon Valley, California. He is the author of NAFSA's Guide to Educational System: India. Shanker has a background in both Academia and Technology. He has taught at the secondary and tertiary levels in the U.S. Earlier in his career he was the chief architect for Intel's systems division, where one of his designs-BitBus, went on to become the USB (Universal Serial Bus), that is widely used in phones, computers, etc. He was also the CEO of a publically traded company (Nasdaq): Micronics, the world's largest motherboard company. Shanker has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT, India and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas. He holds a management credential from Harvard University.
