I grew up in Taiwan and came to the US for higher education. There is a learner in me that I find life-long learning is not an option rather necessity. Originally trained to be an educator, I see issues in schools are actually issues rooted in our education system that needs to be addressed as our collective social responsibility, transcending school boundary and party politics. International education and cultural exchange are great tools to broaden our worldview and cultivate a global citizenship.
